Hi there! My name is Gina! My personal education background is obtaining a bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University in 2019 and majoring in Sports Production. I am embracing a new opportunity that God put upon my path in helping teach American Sign Language to others to gain a new skill for their life skills tool bag. I taught myself when I was a young age and would like to pay it forward to share gifts with others. I have some friends back in Illinois that are hard of hearing and Deaf, so it gives me plenty of experience of utilizing my gift of knowing sign language. I also have experience working in private and public schools when I lived in Michigan. Previously, I used to help first and second grade students with reading, sounding out words, and then high school students with mathematics (Algebra & Geometry). I look forward to meeting you and your family and helping you along your educational journey. We are all learning a little bit each day.

Hi, I'm Colton. As a fourth-year engineering student at USF, I know firsthand that upper-level math and science courses can sometimes feel overwhelming. This is why I focus on working with middle and high school students, offering targeted support in math, physics, and general sciences, while also providing guidance across other K-12 subjects as needed. My approach is centered on developing strong foundational skills and logical problem-solving techniques so that students aren't just memorizing formulas. They actually understand the material and feel ready for their next academic challenge.

Since 2016, I have been teaching in ASD/EBD/ESE self-contained classrooms in Pasco County Schools, working with students who have emotional and behavioral disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, communication challenges, and other exceptionalities. I develop IEPs, create ACCESS aligned lessons, implement behavior-support interventions, and works closely with families to help students thrive both academically and socially. I'm a multidisciplinary tutor with experience in research methods, statistics, psychology, design, marketing, and technology. I am a certified teacher with over five years of experience teaching students in kindergarten through fifth grade, with a strong focus on kindergarten and first grade. I specialize in building foundational skills in reading and math, helping young learners grow in confidence and develop a love for learning. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three sons. Much of our free time is spent at the football field or basketball court cheering them on. I believe that fostering a love of learning at an early age is key to creating lifelong learners, and I am passionate about supporting each child's academic journey in a positive and engaging way.

Born and raised Floridian, I got my degree in Secondary Education: Social Sciences from St. Leo University and then completed Master Courses in Reading Education K-12, also at St. Leo University. Hi! I'm Charly, a college senior studying Political Science on a pre-law track at the University of South Florida. I also hold an associate degree, and I'm passionate about learning and helping others understand material that may feel confusing or overwhelming. Since I'm still a student myself, I understand what it's like to struggle with a subject, feel stuck on an assignment, or need someone to explain something in a different way. I want tutoring to feel relaxed, comfortable, and judgment-free, so students feel completely comfortable asking questions. I tailor my approach to each student and their individual learning style, whether that means breaking down a difficult concept, working through practice problems, preparing for a test, or developing better study habits. My goal is to help students feel more confident in their abilities while making learning a little less stressful and a lot more manageable.

I have always had a passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a concentration in Deaf Studies from USF. After graduating, I began my career in education working with children with special needs. I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and grew up learning it here and there because I have an older sibling that is Deaf. Currently, I work at an elementary school as a certified educational sign language interpreter. I recently earned my interpreting certification, building upon several years of experience working with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in both the Orlando and Tampa areas. I am passionate about lifelong learning and continually look for opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. While I am naturally more introverted, I genuinely enjoy attending workshops, expanding my knowledge, and connecting with new people. Most importantly, I love creating meaningful connections with the children and families I work with and being a part of their journey.

I am a recent graduate from the University of South Florida, where I earned a B.A. in Criminology/Cybercrime with Summa Cum Laude. Throughout my education, I developed strong skills in reading, writing, research, and critical thinking. I have experience tutoring children in grades K-5 through the H.U.G. My passion for chemistry has continued to expand and I began my PhD in chemistry at the University of South Florida. My time as a graduate student has allowed me to experience teaching in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
